Cool Projects Maui is hosted by David Fisher who for the last 18 years has been teaching and consulting to small businesses as the Center Director for the Hawaii Small Business Development Center Network on Maui.  There is more information the Maui Center at http://MauiEnterpriseForum.net and about Fisher here.   In September 2009 Fisher is leaving the SBDC to start Maui Venture Consulting LLC.

Fisher also has a background as a musician and music producer (see http://Myspace.com/igluau) and worked in college radio many years ago where he met his wife Jan Ryan who is a math teacher, church organist, long distance ocean swimmer, poet and ceramic artist.   Their son Jesse is studying Japanese at the University of Hawaii.
